Publish your Insights
What is ‘Publish Your Insights’?
Now that you’ve completed The Warm Up exercises, you have a clearer sense of your strengths, interests and the pivotal moments that have shaped your path. You’ve also discovered how powerful writing can be for reflecting on your experiences and clarifying your next steps.
If you’re here, it’s because you want to take that writing one step further - turning your reflections into published thought pieces that amplify your voice and position you as a go-to resource in the areas that matter most to you.
The idea is simple: when you start sharing your thoughts on topics that genuinely excite you, you build visibility. Over time, that visibility helps you stand out and become known for your insights. It was after all, the thing that helped our co-founder Solai gain recognition as an investor in the startup and venture communities.
But, don’t worry - it’s not about pretending to be an expert overnight. It’s about showing up consistently, sharing what you know, and learning along the way.
Publish Your Insights is your roadmap to taking the curiosity and passion you’ve uncovered in The Warm Up and turning it into something bigger: a body of work that reflects your interests, sharpens your skills, and gives you a voice in the areas that matter most to you.
Why 'Publish Your Insights’?
Writing pieces you want to publish doesn’t happen in an instant - it’s a process! But it’s one that is worth the time and effort.
When you you dive deep into a topic, learn about it, and share what you’ve discovered, a few powerful things start to happen:
You build credibility.
You attract opportunities that align with your passions.
You create momentum for yourself -whether that is a platform, a career path, or something bigger.
We have created a series of exercises to guide you on this journey:
Writing Style: Experiment with your voice and explore what makes your writing uniquely yours.
Topic List: Take a deep dive into one of your interests and unearth your curiosity.
The 3 Draft Method: Refine your process.
Publish: Get your work out into the world
Getting started
This isn’t about perfection or waiting until you feel ‘ready’. It’s about starting with where you are, and letting that evolve over time.
As with previous sections, we recommend doing these exercises in sequence, as each build as on the last.
Your first exercise is Writing Style.
